The owners and staff of this bookstore consider it our responsibility to you, and to the First Amendment, to respect the privacy of your choice of books, magazines and other material. We will not sell information identifying your purchases to a third party without your permission or otherwise disclose it to anyone, including the government, on our own initiative.


The Shelves of this Bookstore

hold a wide array of titles containing ideas as diverse as the world in which we live. We sincerely believe that it is in the best interests of our community and our democratic society for ideas of all kinds to be available to interested individuals, regardless of what our own tastes might be. In that spirit, we believe that censorship in any form -- whether by individuals, special interest groups, or government -- damages our society.

Of course, everyone makes personal choices about the value of a particular book, but we are convinced that it is not our role as booksellers to make those choices for you.

We promise to continue to offer you our very best service and, if asked, our honest suggestions regarding titles. How ever, we will never stand in the way of your right to read.
